Ingredients
- 1 cup Oreo crumbs
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 quart mint ice cream, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini Oreo pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch springform pan with butter.
- In a bowl, mix together the Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let cool completely. Spread the softened ice cream over the cooled crust in an even layer.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter until the butter is melted. Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the ice cream layer and spread in an even layer. Sprinkle the mini Oreo pieces over the top.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
